FAQ / Plain answers

Good questions belong in the curriculum.

Here is what learnme.tech can tell you about the learning experience, pricing, and email enrollment.

Where does the course happen?

Each pathway runs as an online-first cohort over 10 consecutive business days. Curriculum briefs and starter code are shared in a private cohort workspace; live sessions use video calls; and you create the working repository in your own GitHub account so the code, documentation, and commit history remain with you. When enough Chicago-area learners join the same pathway, a hybrid cohort may replace two or three online sessions with on-site studio sessions in Chicago, Illinois. The exact schedule, format, and venue are confirmed before payment.

What prerequisites do I need?

They vary by pathway. Most learners should be comfortable with basic software or data workflows, reading technical documentation, and setting aside consistent daily practice. Each course page lists its specific starting point.

What does “full-time project work” mean?

Plan for six to eight hours each weekday across the 10 business days. Most of that time is independent building, testing, writing, and packaging work—not all-day video calls. A typical cohort has two required live sessions (kickoff on Day 1 and capstone demos on Day 10) plus three optional mentor clinics. All published live times are in Central Time, and the complete calendar is included in the pre-payment enrollment email.

Can I see the syllabus before enrolling?

Yes. Every pathway page publishes the current six-build syllabus, including lesson topics and the required artifact for each build. The schedule maps those builds across Days 1–2, Day 3, Days 4–5, Days 6–7, Days 8–9, and the Day 10 capstone. For example, the Generative AI Application Engineer syllabus moves from an application brief and typed LLM service through retrieval, evaluation, a full-stack experience, and a production-ready domain-assistant capstone.

How long do I have access to a course?

The private cohort workspace and session recordings remain available for 90 days after the cohort ends. The project repository is created in your GitHub account, so your own code and portfolio documentation remain yours after workspace access closes.

What do “30+ deliverables” and mentor learner counts mean?

The five published syllabi contain 30 distinct portfolio artifacts in total—six required builds per pathway. A learner completes the six artifacts in the pathway they enroll in, not all 30. Counts such as “1,240 learners” are a mentor’s cumulative teaching reach across prior workshops, guided labs, and cohorts; they are not the number enrolled in one learnme.tech pathway. Learner repositories are private by default, so we do not present them as public portfolio examples without the learner’s permission.

Do I receive a certificate?

Each pathway describes a certificate of completion for learners who submit the required work. It is not a professional license, academic credit, or guarantee of employment or income.

When does the next cohort start, and how large is it?

Enrollment is cohort-based, not rolling. We collect interest by pathway, geography, and time zone, then launch a cohort when at least eight participants can attend the same schedule. Each cohort is capped at 16 learners per lead mentor. Chicago hybrid cohorts use the same threshold within the Chicago area. We send proposed dates to the interest list first; your start date is not final until you accept it in writing.

Is $4,999.99 the actual price?

Yes. Tuition is $4,999.99 USD per learner, per pathway. It is the course price, not a temporary discount, and there is no crossed-out “regular” price or countdown offer.

How do payment and refunds work?

Once the cohort schedule and format are confirmed, we send a secure invoice payable by card or ACH transfer. Payment is due before the cohort starts and reserves your seat. There is no instant checkout because we confirm the cohort, schedule, and location before accepting tuition.

Refund policy: Cancel by email any time before the cohort’s published start time for a full tuition refund to the original payment method. After the cohort starts, tuition is non-refundable except where required by law. If learnme.tech cancels the cohort or materially changes its dates or format, you may transfer to another cohort or request a full refund. Approved refunds are initiated within 10 business days. You receive this complete policy and the cohort-specific terms by email before you pay.

Who teaches the pathways?

The pathways bring together perspectives from application engineering, data science, platform operations, product thinking, and responsible technology. Email the learning team if you have questions about instructors or the learning experience.

How do I enroll?

Email enroll@learnme.tech with the pathway you are considering. The learning team will reply with next steps and expected response timing.
